Corporate:
When the strategic and the operational interventions fail to please, some wise people start asking questions in which the word culture is a key subject.
CRM:
Customer Relationship Management is now embedded in our language about the customer interface. Two general sites are definitely worth a visit.
PMP Ltd, publishers of Consultants Conspectus and other informative industry commentary have CRM summary issues which may be relevant. David Jefferson is an occasional contributor on the subject.
Sales:
There is much written about this subject (on which almost everyone is an expert) and in which most practitioners recognise that a lifetime in selling is not long enough. We believe that success in B2B selling is a mix of many things including, structure (as described by Miller and Heiman), personal interaction (as set down by Neil Rackham in SPIN Selling- Huthwaite) and personal attributes.
Strategic Planning;
The Strategic Planning Society (SPS) fosters and promotes research and best practice in strategic thought and action. It aims to increase the fulfilment by organisations of their purpose.
Institutes and Associations:
The Institute of Business Consulting:
The Management Consultancies Association:
The Company of Management Consultants:
Intellect: The association of the information technology, telecommunications and electronics industries.
Charities and Not-for-Profit:

This is a service designed to facilitate access to specialist IT knowledge on a volunteering basis. JI Group actively supports this initive and David Jefferson represents Intellect on the Managment Committee.
Victim Support is the independent charity which helps people cope with the effects of crime. Victim Support counsellors provide free and confidential support and information to help crime victims deal with their experiences.
