JI Software has been supporting an IT knowledge access initiative called IT4Communities.  The objective is to bring IT experts willing to volunteer their services together with not-for-profit organisations needing IT help. Now Microsoft have endorsed the use of IT4Communities as a means for heir staff to become involved in IT volunteering in their local communities.

The initiative was originally hosted by the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists.  BITC (Princes Trust) Intellect, The British Computer Society, and ... all participated to bring the service into being.
